As far as I'm aware she didn't have a brain injury, she had an operation to cure her epilepsy.

Other people in that situation have managed to avoid being banned from Twitter, deported from other countries and sued by so many people that they have had to sell their house to cover the costs. They've managed to avoid accusing innocent people of being terrorists and mixing up TV cooks with people who vandalise war memorials.

I am crying with rage at the injustice of this.
So many people needing to travel from UK to Australia and vice versa to visit dying relatives, for funerals of loved ones but can't.

Actors, Musicians and business people have been going into and out of Australia throughout the pandemic, as they have every other Country Worldwide.

I would love to be able to visit our family in Melbourne or our AC in Kenya, unfortunately we are just normal folk with no chance whatsoever!!!!

FannyCornforth there are many people with epilepsy who do not and would never express the views Hopkins has. Her epilepsy seems to have been controlled sometimes and sometimes untreatable. It was never mentioned in her period on The Apprentice, she lied about it to get into the army but seems to now say she had attacks most nights.
She has libelled so many people and written inaccurate and insulting things. Opinions my be the result of a brain injury but anyone can check the facts. She has no money now because of the libel actions.

Hi Lucca yes I have heard and read the things she’s said. I think of her in the same way I did ( past tense now thankfully) that Trump guy, or even just the local bigot at the bus stop/ queue spouting off. Never watched the Apprentice or Dragons Den as both these types of “entertainment” - imo obviously, epitomise all that is mean and greedy and tiresome and joyless in society. I can’t bear Eastenders either, GRIM

It does seem so unfair, I think the more famous you are (or rich) means that you are not subject to everyday rules.

She has at times spoken very intelligently and I've also seen her being hilariously funny. But she seems to have a side to her which is totally obnoxious and knows no boundaries. In this case it's very strange for someone who is basically intelligent to behave like a stupid teenager.

I was going to post about her brain surgery and seizure disorder but I think it can only be used as a reason for her behaviour and thought processes. If she has such a severe neurological impairment from it, is it ethical to give her such platforms and I suppose the answer is always yes? if it is within free speech guidelines and with that falls to her (or an advocate) the responsibility to moderate her own platform. She seems to just fill it with hate filled bile though. I can have sympathy and compassion for her complex health needs whilst finding her views abhorrent

She's entiirely entitled to her views and they may be influenced or the result of her health problems.She'snot entitled to tell lies and tht's why she has so many court judgements against her.

Interestingly Mo Mowlam who had a brain tumour once asked her specialist how long it could have been there and if it was possibly responsible for her outspoken attitude. He couldn't answer her.

She was like this before she had her brain operation. She is a fraud and a publicity seeker. I don't think she believes half of what she says. She's just trying to get attention and it works. (Just my opinion obviously). She will be thrilled to be back in the public eye again. Marcus Rashford gave her a fantastic reply when she had a go at him a while back.

I agree Kate1949. She was like this before. And she is just an attention seeker who enjoys being unpleasant and stirring things up.

I know her back story from day one, before even The Apprentice, but it would be unprofessional of me to post on here.
That's how she was, is and always will be.
