We have asked for this ever since I ve been on GN and it will never happen they don’t trust us unfortunately Even a five minute option would be great

Yes, I've asked for this many times.

Someone will be along soon anyway to tell us that we already have an edit button- the preview one.
However, that doesn't seem to work properly on my tablet, as despite previewing my posts, the big errors/typos/omissions only appear after I've finally pressed 'post'. confused grin

It’s predictive text that embarrassed me….Zoopla became Zooplankton!! ?

It's been asked for over and over, along with other suggestions, but we're still waiting

Having made some (uh hmm) embarrassing typos due to dyslexia and my over enthusiastic spellcheck which seems to change words as I post, I would love one.

Yes it would be good to be able to get rid of silly typos. even facebook has an edit button and you can look back to see what has been edited to show up anyone who changes the meaning of a post.

Argh my proof reading always fails me until after I hit the post button. Would it really be too much to ask for an edit function.
