Mouth open duchess

The papers choose which photos to print. They have a picture editor.
The photographers will have taken dozens, if not hundreds, of the things at one event.
The ‘mouth open ‘ pics will have been chosen for being more dynamic.
It is nothing to do with the DoC

Just asked OH the shutter speed of professional cameras.

His worst one takes 40 a second. Can that be right?

Just think how many photos they have to choose from.

I've never don't any of those things. I taught adults, but I don't think that counts.

But I don't think being a teacher has got anything in common at all with wearing nice frocks and waving at the peasants.

I suspect Kate does a good ‘look’ when the children, or William, are in danger of getting it wrong

He'll learn. Although it takes some longer to learn than others.

I think that certain jobs require similar skills and I'd include acting, teaching and carrying out Royal duties amongst them.

Would the paparazzi take pictures of her with her mouth buttoned? There have been times such as her appearance on the Palace balcony with the Queen on Remembrance Sunday when it would be inappropriate to smile and she doesn't. Most photos of the Duchess are taken when she is enjoying herself and smiling at the people she is with. She has a joyful smile and a lovely set of teeth. What a great addition she has proved to be to the Royal Squad.

I’m so glad I’m not famous and that no one wants to photograph me. It’s a sad day when all we have to criticise about is whether the DoC or KM or anyone else has their mouth open when smiling, more often than l would like. Now if she was eating with her mouth open, I’d happily join in complaining. School dinner time with primary is the stuff of half chewed nightmares.

One minute we moan that they are far removed from the general public the next that they are being too "normal" do we want them to stand ram rod straight without a glimmer of a smile, no? Then we have to accept facial expressions. Surely she is behaving naturally. It was appropriate for the moment. Don't forget journalist are poised with cameras that take multiple photos a second so capture every expression.

Gosh! I hope she never gets a skin blemish it could completely ruin the whole bloomin’ icon/goddess status thing?
I am so not photogenic and manage to look horrendous in any photo no matter how composed I am.

Or a front gold tooth. She can't win damned if she laughs damned if she doesn't. Good on her for laughing when she was scruming down with the England Rugby squad . Let's hope she's laughing on Saturday after the Calcutta cup match.
