Me too.
Good Morning Wednesday 13th May 2026
This weather is getting me down. Is it May or March?
Just that really.
I know someone who used to be a (hobby) cat breeder and had trouble with local kids who poisoned/killed a couple of their cats.
They involved the rspca who, because they couldn't 'prove exactly' which youth had done it, prosecuted them for not keeping their cats safe (despite them being on their property, in a locked pen and behind 2 locked gates).
The rspca seized this person's cats, went to court 9 months later, asked the court to make the breeder pay boarding fees for 14 cats for 9 months and to give them a ban. Fortunately the boarding fees weren't upheld but a fine and a ban for 5yrs was imposed.
This was a respectable breeder who followed all legislation and GCCF (cat version of Kennel Club) rules and did absolutely nothing wrong.
When I look at the abuse that Zouma committed, then compare it with this breeder, imo he deserves, at the very least, the same punishment handed down to the breeder.
The fact that he is a famous footballer should not mean that he or his pets should be treated any differently to the rest of us. His pets deserve to be treated with respect (the same as yours and mine) and he deserves to be punished in exactly the same way as anyone else would be.
Thoughts..
Me too.
I like Alan Sugar.
I hope he drops her loudly.
They are hoping it will all fade away
I think a lot of the online anger will fade away but the memory of what he did will follow Zouma wherever he plays, I think.
Moyes and Brady will always be remembered for their refusal to condemn cruelty to an animal too.
I wonder if Sir Alan Sugar will quietly drop her from The Apprentice? He roundly condemned poachers who were shooting elephants.

I doubt anyone will get a reply from West Ham. They are hoping it will all fade away. I expect Baroness Brady has been on the blower to Boris for a few tips. I really thought the FA would have taken a stance on this and insisted on his suspension. Rather disappointed in their silence. Gives the wrong message completely. My football team are playing West Ham in the next round of the FA Cup. I sincerely hope we thrash them.
Yes they’ve kept a low profile as possible just hoping it will all blow over and the sad thing is it probably will but it really shouldn’t…?
Anyone know what’s happened about his pathetic brother?
Oh I can assure you I have had a number of replies from West Ham, the latest one yesterday 15.2.2022 @ 14.28 with the usual mealy mouthed reply in respect of Brady. Also saying they will await the outcome of the RSPCA.
I am afraid it is all depressingly predictable now, they will do nothing more.

I have had no reply at all to my emails from the club or from that Brady woman ?
Just a bit of good news: Re that creep Todd, who was shown hitting his horse with branches - the British Horse Racing Association have suspended him.
Afraid nothing good to report about West Ham, I had two long emails yesterday with the usual diatribe and pathetic response from Karen Brady. They are on the West Ham website.

I have no respect for Moyes. He is only concerned with his own career as a manager and money of course. He is just hoping that as time goes by this will be forgotten.
He must have gone right down in a lot of people’s estimation.

No I’m not watching it. I know the dairy industry is inherently cruel although most people would prefer to believe it’s all happy cows and jolly farmers.

The meat and dairy industries are inherently cruel, but that’s a whole different argument. Any animal cruelty should be treated equally.
Are you watching Panorama?

Some of the WH fans are apparently singing supportive chants now.
Yes someone posted the link to them singing in the pub back in the thread

Aaaarrrgh! Go, not fo!

I think they will say he wasn't well when he posted that video.
He'll probably fo into rehab or something.
I think they are just biding their time and hoping the situation will blow over….. I have messaged Karen Brady at the club no reply from her or from the club as yet..?
His mental health, my a*se.
I think this is the stance that's going to be taken, now they have realised what a storm of upset this has caused.

Good grief - just read a statement by Moyes that "he wants to make sure his player's mental health is protected ...." What utter crap. Moyes just keeps on giving, unbelievable.
I used to love football. It has completely put me off the game altogether.

I think his mental health needs to be investigated, not protected... kicking and slapping an animal is not the normal behaviour of a stable, mature adult.

We are such a hypocritical nation. We are sentimental about animals but eat them and feed our pets animals (made into feed). What is wrong with us?
I don’t condone animal cruelty at all but we have to be consistent.
What’s the difference between eating a cat or dog and cow or sheep?... an act of cruelty to an animal - for the 'fun' of it - is a separate issue to whether we should or should not be meat eaters. And I don't think you can really conflate the two.
The meat industry attempts (though sometimes fails) to treat animals in a way that is considered humane. You can debate this, and it is debatable, but it really is not in the same category as some random individual deliberately and violently abusing an animal - for what appears to be entertainment.
So I don't think it's inconsistent if you are a meat eater to find this abhorrent.
Very succinctly put Dickens ??????
Perhaps we all should have seen the funny side?
