Youngest DD who is 23 has just bought a house with her boyfriend. She wants to take our 14 yr old cat with her. I am not sure about it all but wanted thoughts....

Shelflife

Is this a genuine question? If so I am horrified that anyone would consider the proposition of rehoming a very elderly cat- regardless of who it 'belongs ' to!!!!

This poster pops up every now and then with ridiculous and convoluted posts, nothing ever adds up.
They don’t even bother to change their user name.
It’s sad.

It’s a spoof. Waste no more time.

Cats don’t belong to anyone. 😄

Cats are gods 🐈

Sago, that's one of my favourite sitcoms. Thanks for the laugh!

Oh well this thread isn’t worth replying to judging by all the other threads

Seriously, what does the cat think?

If the cat is more attached to your daughter than to anyone else in the family, he/she will probably be happy to move in with her.

If the cat loves you all equally, then she will miss you.

If you have a garden and the cat is used to going out, and your daughter is moving into a flat - don't consider it for a moment.

If cat totally ignores daughter's boyfriend or has made her dislike of him plain then it is a no-go. Likewise if daughter's boyfriend dislikes cat or cats.

Is this the poster who was looking after two grandchildren taking them to swimming lessons and dropping their au pair off at a bus stop and on another occasion wanting to sack the nanny I can’t remember what for though

Yes it is, totally bonkers attention seeking twaddle.

Perhaps the nanny wanted to pinch the cat

Topsy, have you made a decision yet?
