Just Giving and similar pages

I do see what you mean, Sarnia, but on the other hand, nobody has to donate to these funding pages. I wonder just how much he will get. (Nothing from me, anyway!)

Nothing from me either, but Andrew Tate’s brother is clearly a fan:

I do think these pages have got ridiculous, of late.

The world and his wife all ask for help for everything.

His wife will have to sort out the inlaid mortgage, just as lots of others do when "something unexpected" happens.

It's concerning that people actually look up to these guys. Not quite sure why, except perhaps the sports cars, women and general wealth that appeals to a certain image.

No one decent wants their ill gained profits though. In January FC United of Wrexham thanked Tristan Tate on X, formerly known as Twitter for his £5,000 donation. But "After seeking advice from club associates and organisational representatives we were advised to return the donation with immediate effect."

The club added that £5,000 was a substantial amount for a not-for-profit club which in some months does not break even.

Anyone who knows their dirty money would not touch it and is not impressed by their flashy lifestyle.

I'd like it not to be possible, but can't see a way of doing it. Perhaps if the site had different defined areas?

Some sites, including Just Giving, only feature registered charities. Although easy to confuse, they are different from the 'crowdfunding' websites that people use for all sorts of things.

I agree with Cossy -full credit to Wrexham FC. The more these brothers hear that they are unacceptable, the better, as far as I am concerned.
