Yes, full credit to Wrexham FC for not taking the dirty money, even though they could have benefitted from it.

Nobody decent wants the proceeds of their lifestyle!

I agree with Cossy -full credit to Wrexham FC. The more these brothers hear that they are unacceptable, the better, as far as I am concerned.

Some sites, including Just Giving, only feature registered charities. Although easy to confuse, they are different from the 'crowdfunding' websites that people use for all sorts of things.

I'd like it not to be possible, but can't see a way of doing it. Perhaps if the site had different defined areas?

It's concerning that people actually look up to these guys. Not quite sure why, except perhaps the sports cars, women and general wealth that appeals to a certain image.

No one decent wants their ill gained profits though. In January FC United of Wrexham thanked Tristan Tate on X, formerly known as Twitter for his £5,000 donation. But "After seeking advice from club associates and organisational representatives we were advised to return the donation with immediate effect."

The club added that £5,000 was a substantial amount for a not-for-profit club which in some months does not break even.

Anyone who knows their dirty money would not touch it and is not impressed by their flashy lifestyle.

Good for Wrexham FC!!

Unpaid!! Predictive text is a pain sometimes.

I do think these pages have got ridiculous, of late.

The world and his wife all ask for help for everything.

His wife will have to sort out the inlaid mortgage, just as lots of others do when "something unexpected" happens.

Nothing from me either, but Andrew Tate’s brother is clearly a fan:

“Among those to donate was Tristan Tate, the brother of self-proclaimed misogynist Andrew Tate, who has given £2,500.”
(from The Independent)

I do see what you mean, Sarnia, but on the other hand, nobody has to donate to these funding pages. I wonder just how much he will get. (Nothing from me, anyway!)

I was not surprised to read that a funding page has been set up for Dominic Capaldi who was sentenced to 34 months for his part in the Bristol riots. His best mate has set it up claiming that the wife and children are left with an unpaid mortgage after his unjust imprisonment. I don't see how it can be 'unjust' when Capaldi pleaded guilty but hey-ho. My feelings are that his family and his responsibilities to them were far from his mind while he was attacking police officers. AIBU in thinking that requests of this sort should not be permitted on these sites?
