This morning I had a shock as with an Estate Agent due to visit late afternoon I was up earlier than usual ( during winter anyway) !
With 2 Small pooches King Charles Cavaliers I have to be on top of , sweeping , vacuuming & floor washing .
But here’s the thing , you know when people say things like ‘ should have gone to spec savers ‘?
Well , that was me , I was absolutely disgusted with my self for not donning my specs when I cleaned 🧼
We all have the odd day where we give things a quicker clean than others but my word , I thought it hadn’t been cleaned for weeks 😫
That daily clean without my glasses might as well of not been done .
Fur balls caught on the legs of the dresser , skirting boards needing a scrub ( I insisted we have a double ridge you know in the style of those old high ones - to suit our old house ) rather than a quick wipe .
Even the worktop that I am precious about 😢
Oh for the days of 20/20 vision & whipping round top to bottom with no fur balls , coffee beans or more .
I wouldn’t be without our pooches of course & at only 3.years we are fairly new dog parents .
But I would consider a cleaner , now that’s a thought 💭
How would I negotiate how often & for how long ?
I’m thinking Kitchen & Bathrooms .
Once a week /2 hours
Mid week - beginning of week end of week ????
Perplexed , annoyed at myself full in the gaps .
Oh & the bottom line the EA did a phone call only which apparently was going to be a video one but as our house had been on the market 2 years ago he said it wasn’t needed .
Though I am feeling better about having worn my glasses 🤓 & realising that they are really a necessity when cleaning!
Yes , I roped DH in when he returned from the Gym .
