Is anyone else still having issues with online ordering? Glad the SPARKS discounts are back but having no luck in actually ordering the items when I get to checkout. I guess I'll end up going to the store but last time I went there were empty shelves. This cyber attack is definitely costing them a fortune and is still not sorted. It's quite scary how vulnerable we are and have let it happen

I’ve ordered for delivery successfully, but no click and collect.

Ordered trousers today, no problem.

I'm very unhappy with M &S.
They are now showing only 1 out of 5 on trustpilot reviews so I am not alone

I have done one order and it took ages, 2 weeks to come. I probably won’t order again for a while til click and collect resumes. They have definitely taken a big hit.

I feel sorry for them and will continue to buy as and when.

On the contrary. An internet order last weekend came in 3 days

I’d gone in for currency, but they wanted cash for cash. I
Didn’t fancy trundling along to the ATM, then back with a load of cash. I’ll try again, nearer my trip.
I’ll continue to support M&S though. I think we still need their presence on the High Street or in various shopping centres.

As soon as it was announced they where taking online orders I ordered what I wanted which arrived within a couple of days. But some things I want are still out of stock so on my wish list . Hopefully they will be in stock soon .

Yesterday, I bought a large tin of biscuits as a gift, they were on special, but I was charged full price at the self scan till.
A manager came and said he needed to rectify it at a main till. As I was about to pay, he said I had a Sparks voucher, so instead of paying £14.50, I paid £9. I was delighted!

Our food hall is well stocked, but the Scan and Go is not operational, which is a pain. I find it much easier to pack as I go.

I picked up a shirt with 70% off in the sale for DH, to be told sale items were non returnable. 🤬
The sale this time has been very poor.

I am a M & S super fan, order lots for normal. I do feel so very sorry for them with this cyber attack they have had thrown at them through no fault of their own (at least I don't think so!). I will, therefore support them all the way and hopefully very soon they will return to do what they did before (maybe even better).

Jaxjacky Sun 06-Jul-25 12:50:40

I haven’t reset my password Liaise everything seems to be fine.

Contact customer service and ask for help.
I changed my password immediately, which is the advice given if a company's IT systems are hacked.

M&S have confirmed that some customers' data was breached.
Best to be safe than sorry.

Since they came back on line I've actually had a message telling me of my Sparks offers, haven't had one of these for at least 12 mths whereas they used to come monthly. I have previously asked in the shop why I don't get the emails anymore and I've telephoned and asked about this to no avail, perhaps some good has come out of the horror.

Ordered fine but slow delivery and issues trying to return. Had to get customer service to action the return. So definitely still issues.

Agree. Will continue to support. It’s been a tough time for all the staff. They will be back better than ever I’m sure.

I reset my password, as instructed by M&S, and had no difficulty in ordering 2 bras. They did arive within a few days as stated but I had to pay for delivery as there is no click and collect available. I was annoyed at having to pay for delivery: I like to collect my order and shop at my local Simply Food store and consequently I have not visited the store.

My latest order came quite quickly but many things on line are still out of stock.

I never paid cash for currency in M&S. Used to get a special price if I used my M&S credit card, then paid it off immediately.

If all else fails with an online order follow the 'contact us' information and call. You will be answered by a very efficient call centre, quite possibly abroad, but the service is excellent. Just ordered four items and they've arrived. Later on the day I made the order, I received an email offering me 20% off ladies lingerie and I called back to say that I only saw that when I'd made the order, and the agent immediately arranged a refund for the 20%. Very efficient. I will always support M&S.
