I have just been watching a large family walking down to the beach , 5 little children all under 6 with no hats on ,they also had no shoes and we have had reports of weaver fish on the beach, I spoke to one of the mums and just said I thought she would like to know about the Weaver fish and how extremally painful the sting is and wearing shoes would protect them she more or less told me to get lost , those poor children I hope they don't get stung , I have seen a grown man cry with the pain !
As I came back of the beach I followed a couple with a new born in a small pram, they had a towel over the pram to keep the sun off the baby, I was going to say something but then decided not to , I got a few yards along the beach and turned back , I said I was sorry if I sounded interfering but having a towel over the pram is very dangerous as it makes the inside of the pram very hot, I was waiting for a mouthful of abuse instead they were so grateful they had never thought of the heat and removed the towel , I was glad I said something but I must admit I was waiting for yet more abuse.
