I agree . I wish the models would aim to give plain information about cut and fit. Especially, long hair needs to be kept off the collar so we can see what the neckline looks like.

I sent a very similar message to M&S several years ago!
I told them the way they featured their models was not a look I aspired to, never mind that I couldn't actually "see" the clothes properly in the first place.

Tucking in jumpers and tops so you can't judge the length - important for us petites.

The models often look as though they've been forced to wear clothes they hate and get into very awkward positions so you can't see the awful top or trousers.

It’s hard to see how clothes hang when the body is contorted.
An angry face and weird hair doesn’t help either, neither do bovver boots on the end of stick thin legs.

I agree totally with this. When buying online am presented with countless grumpy looking young women contorting their bodies so I can’t get an idea of how the clothes look like on a normal person.
They are frequently squatting, sat with legs akimbo, or writhing against a wall.
Am tempted to give up.
