Converting a 4 ply pattern to dk

I have just been sent a wonderful pattern by another gransnetter to knit premmie baby blankets but I usually only knit in DK. Does anyone know a quick and easy (i.e. no maths involved) way to convert it?

I usually adjust the needle size and knit a 3 inch template to find out what size needles will make the same size as the pattern dictates. Might be quite a tight tension in DK unless you use larger needles and reduce the number of stitches, if that's easy to do without spoiling the pattern.
