Bracelet making.

I love the idea of making your own jewellery but when Ive looked online at the stuff you need to buy to get started it puts me off. I do have lots of gemstones that I would like to make into either necklaces and bracelets. Can you tell me what would be the minimum of equipment you would need. Obviously a gadget for clamping the clasps onto the chains would be essential but what else. Ive done a short course about gemstone healing so I could make a piece for friends who are ill etc. Would Love any advice you can give me Gloria
