Traditional beret pattern

Does anyone please have a pattern for a traditional beret? I’ve tried many sites but none have what I would call a traditional beret. Thank you

Are you knitting or crocheting Humbertbear? I have crocheted berets, in fact I have a couple I have not sold/donated/given away. Here's a couple of photos of them. I had to use a bowl to put them on as I don't have a mannequin head

Have you looked at Woolly Wormhead's designs on Ravelry? This link won't work if you are a not (yet) a member but many, many traditional beret and tam patterns there. I love WW's patterns. They are extremely well written.
