Any knitters out there who can help with this?

I have just seen another UK neo-natal unit and they recommend acrylic. Marianna’slazydaisydays provide a set of free of patterns for bonding squares.
Thank you for replying.

Does it have to be wool?
K Could you use a Cotton yarn instead?

I’m not on Facebook so can’t see the link.

I knit for a neonatal Unit and was told not to use pure wool, due to allergies and that all the blankets/ hats were sterilised, so not to wash them, as washing detergent/ soap could also cause allergies.
Just saying, don’t want to appear contradictory.

I have read the instructions and the wool needs to be able to be washed at 60 degrees. Can anyone suggest a brand of suitable wool?

I will make a start today. Thank you for bringing this wonderful cause to our attention.

I hope this is allowed but I've just seen this plea on FB for bonding squares for Hull Royal neonatal unit and thought of GN smile

Hope the link works but I think if you copy and paste the above it will take you to the page and the instructions.
