My mum also knitted loads of things for my children which have / are being worn by my grandchildren. Some of the jumpers have made their way to NZ grandchildren. My youngest GD is currently wearing a Pram suit knitted for her aunty. Mind you my mum is always busy knitting them new things as well!

My mother was a prolific knitter and I kept many things she made which the next generation are very happy to wear again. She would have been delighted.

I sorted out, washed and mended some jumpers I crocheted for my boys when they were little.

As I can't knit neatly, this pattern was ideal as it is crocheted sideways and looks like ribbed knitting.

So now my DGS has it and wears it all the time - more than his Daddy used to!

Excuse the bad lighting - it was hard to get him to stand still and the sun was shining through the conservatory roof and windows and casting strong shadows.

Has anyone else's work now been passed on to the next generation?
