Large knitted Easter Egg pattern.

This one is 10 cm but if you wanted it bigger, how about keeping to the pattern, but using a double strand of yarn, or chunky, on rather bigger needles? I did that before Christmas when making stockings for Gdcs - it was a nice simple pattern but just too small.

Our village is doing a lockdown guerilla knitting project. The idea is to decorate the trees and benches with knitted Easter items. I can knit but not very complicated patterns. I have searched for Easter Egg patterns but they all seem quite small and would be a bit insignificant hanging from a tree. Has anyone got a pattern for a larger sized Easter Egg, say around 5 inches? Thank you.
