Threading and eyesight

I suspect your son in law can scan or take a photo of chart, then change the contrast and enlarge and print out larger. On another thread, someone suggested taking a photo of small print instructions then enlarging on phone screen.

My son does this for me Farmor15.
An enlarged section, on a sheet of A4, of the original is a godsend.
I put it on a clipboard and colour away, filling in each time I have completed a colour, square whatever or just stop!

It has the added advantage that you don't need to mark the original and if you have marked off the squares on the enlarged copy and obscured the final outline instructions, you can follow the original or ask DSIL to run you off another one!

If he takes a photo of it then he can print out your instructions on A4 so really big and easier than keep looking at your phone or computer.

Not the same, but there was absolutely no way I could knit straight from the charts for numbers 1-24 knitted into pockets for a big Advent calendar. I had to transfer them line by line to pages of a shorthand notebook - 7 red, 4 gold, 8 red, etc.

I definitely have this problem. Thank goodness for technology that helps.
