Here you go, Ali smile

Faces are so tricky! I never know how to start the stitches - always worried they'll unravel. What is best, a backstitch? I couldn't fo his face in black, it just didn't show up.

Try searching Pinterest. They nearly always have something available

Thanks, everyone! All are brilliant ideas that have unlocked my "creative mittens" mind. πŸ‘ Gransnet at its best.

(PS I was thrilled to have a knitting project commissioned in this way πŸ˜€ )

Do you maybe have a pattern for knitting cherries?

Here's one (I just googled "knitting cherries") there will be others:

Basically it’s just a gathered up circle which you stuff with something soft. You could make them in felt or just some white cotton fabric and sew onto the arms. Why don’t you experiment. with a spare bit of fabric to get an idea of the correct size?

Could you perhaps adapt a pattern for newborn baby mittens?

I wasn't very clear - I have a generic rabbit pattern that was suitable (but it doesn't include gloves).

(I have no idea why the pic is duplicated).

My grandson has asked me to knit a rabbit toy for him, so far so good smile but it is a particular character that wears gloves that look like boxing gloves πŸ˜€

I have a pattern, have completed the toy but am struggling with the boxing gloves. Can anyone help please (see pic)? I'm hoping there's a pattern that I can adapt. I've tried making up a pattern without success. Thanks in anticipation.
