Witzend What a wonderful way to use your creative skills. Those knitted dolls will do good, which makes me quite emotional.

Local police used to ask knitting group to supply knitted teddies for when dealing with anxious, stressed, traumatised children. Just realised not had any requests for quite some time now. Think it may be the police officers needing teddies for all the stress they have to cope with!

Well done Witzend , a lovely kind thing to do for the unfortunate children who need them .

Witzend you showcase your work but shows how much they are needed to help children and adults in various situations. I know that hand knitted toys help dementia and Alzheimer's patients especially if they are unresponsive to people and don't talk. But they do to the toy.

Thanks, everybody. I do really enjoy knitting and these particular items are very good for using up ‘leftovers’ from my vast stash. Plus of course all these badly needed items are a great excuse for ignoring housework!
