Oh, I thought it meant cream as in the Cornish clotted type.

I’m sorry but Helena lives with me

PrinceofCarmel Sun 17-Aug-25 21:35:22

I spelled it wrong.

Wasn’t the Cream’s drummer called Ginger Baker? I’m too young to have seen them live too, but it wasn’t my kind of music anyway.

Maybe Eric Burdon didn’t like you getting his name wrong.

Yes there is that😄

Sago you can be interested in somebody without being a stalker.
She lives in an undisclosed area in London, it’s a big city!
I was very interested to see her house where she lived with Tim Burton and others may be as well, it’s really lovely.

Oreo

Just reading about HBC I came across the fact that she is now living in London but her house in Oxfordshire is up for sale.
A cool four and a half million! Gorgeous house tho.
If you go onto RightMove and put in the area Sutton Courtney South Oxfordshire then it comes up, Mill House it’s called.
Shows all their rooms and furniture.I want it!
Also read that her great ( great?) Grandad was the PM Asquith and this house used to be his.
You’re welcome😄

OP can properly stalk her now!

Another deep and odd post PrinceofCarmel.
You clearly have an obsession with HBC.

Started watching Cream 05 Royal Albert Hall DVD. I was quite young when they stormed the world. I never got to hear them live. I did see Clapton jam with Carlos Santana once. Quite intense.

Have been listening to a lot of Peter Gabriel. His music makes me feel as if I have a friend traveling with me. Saw him in San Francisco,
One of the finest shows in my life. I lived for hearing music and to love. Music sustains me when people do not. Songs on Gabriel’s 16 Golden Greats make me feel as I’m in the middle of true family. The bass and percussion, vocals that fill you, Kate Bush.

Does anyone know how much a small advertisement might be in The Times? I was thinking of placing one of my poems so Helena Bonham Carter might read it. If I knew Peter Gabriel, he surely could arrange tea for Helena and I.

Social circles are what makes one’s life enchanting, or stale.

I write music. Once I met a beautiful man named Kebo, who played congas for Eric Burton. (Animals) He gave me his backstage pass and told me to go meet Eric. So I meet Eric, told him I had written a song for him.

After the show, out fron a long limo shows up for Eric and Kebo. Kebo opens the back door and asks Eric if I can come in the limo with them. Eric looks at me, then says no. Kebo says just follow the limo. I had to literally run several blocks to my car and then chase the limo down. We all spent the night together and I showed Eric the song. He didn’t seem interested. Eric Burton had one of the best voices in music, his voice alone told stories. The song “ Monterey” Spill the Wine” Oh well, I tried. This happened in Los Angeles. I went back to find Kebo. Never found him. A few years later, I met Eric again and asked about Kebo. He didn’t remember him.

So 300,000 people out there on this platform.
I’m trying to finalize an orchestra recording one of my songs and it’s strange to have dreams come true. The song is about 120,000 Japanese put in American prisons in the USA during WWIi. I know Helena would love the song. Cat Steven’s had a lyric, Your dreams may be still be here tomorrow, but you may not. Love and beautiful music to all….
