Tapestry kit for an elderly beginner

My sister lives abroad and following a fall at home which broke her pelvis and femur she's found herself in a care home. Unfortunately the home she is in is not really suitable as many of the clients have dementia. Sis is quite frail but she's really struggling with having nothing to do except sit. She used to be a very creative person, good with her hands but she hasn't done anything in recent years. I'd like to send her something to help keep her occupied. I was thinking of a tapestry kit but am open to ideas and suggestions. I doubt there will be many people around to help her. Suggestions would be most welcome. TIA

Does she have access to the internet and a tablet of some sort she can use? If so, there are lots of videos on YouTube that may help if she gets stuck.

No sadly she's a complete technophobe!

Maybe start with one for older children, change the wrapping!

I agree with the post about a kit aimed at children, but would like to suggest looking at cross stitch kits - a speedier result, and easier, possibly, for older eyes to work with.
