Anyone got a SIMPLE pattern for a dog jumper please? I’m Grandma to a German Shorthaired Pointer who feels the cold! Thank you.

Buy him a coat for going outside on cold days.No dog needs a jumper in the house.

An Equafleece will be far better than any knitted jumper.

I bought a couple of fleece lined waterproof coats for my dog. Nice and warm or her in the winter.

They're going to knit dog coats on The Wool Game next week.

A warm lined waterproof coat would be better, I think, particularly as it seems so rainy at the moment.

Thank you everyone. I did buy her a DryBones fleece lined water thingy for Christmas last year and I have to say it ticks all the boxes. I found a stash of wool in my craft cupboard and was looking for ideas.

Do you have a ravelry account? There are over 1200 patterns for dog sweaters available! Some cute, some not so much! But worth looking at, just for the cute models.

I would have offered but my standard of knitting is not great, hence the dog idea!

Blizzard waterproof coat for outside, a fleece if he needs a “kennel coat”. I agree in principle about not needing a coat in the house but have seen some rather fetching greyhound pyjamas!

My daughter’s very ancient dog wears jumpers indoors as she feels the cold and is obviously comfortable wearing one, whereas my double coated terrier was appalled at the idea of wearing a garment of any sort regardless of the weather.

It was that glittery thread which was awful, it looked itchy.

The brown one with the red letters on it looked ok.

Made me laugh Whitewavemark2 our JR was the same, the expression on his face when I tried to give him a coat was hilarious, ruined his street cred. smile

😊we paid quite a bit for a waterproof fashionable coat and I rammed it on him after a struggle and he simply refused to walk.

We gave up and gave the coat away.
