Maybe do one round at a time on several motifs so that you become familar with each round.

I did something similar with a different design recently. Did all the centres, about five rounds, first. It was easier to get into a rhythm. However, it wasn't such a complicated pattern as the centres were 'flowers' then the rest of the squares mostly Granny stitch with colour changes to form an overall pattern.

I’m stuck on Row 12… Many thanks for your encouragement though. I don’t know how to read charts…

Why not see if your local churches offer craft sessions ?

Good idea, or the U3A if you are a member.

Just finished a blanket (Sweet Blossom blanket) and wondering what to do next - without buying any more yarn!!

I think I'd need to purchase a lot more to tackle this one, but it is lovely.

Yes, I have made it as a gift but still have the pattern.

Are you just stuck on Round 12 or saying that what you have so far isn't looking right?

Do you know how to read the charts?

It is fiddly but once you have a couple of motifs under your belt it should all become easier.

Maybe do one round at a time on several motifs so that you become familar with each round.

I googled the Delft blanket pattern .
I also love blue and cream together and am reminded of crockery .
Recently I've been looking at dark blue and turquoise on tile patterns in traditional Islamic art and wonder if I can incorporate them into my art work .

If I'm stuck on a knitting /crochet project I have to ask a friend.
It's her forte and certainly not mine.
I met my gifted friend at church - but you don't always have to be a member of the congregation to attend the craft groups .

I have started this, but think it may be well beyond my capabilities… Has anyone succeeded in doing it? I have
got as far as Row 12, and ground to a halt…
