Birds and wildlife to look out for in the country and by the sea

If you can I recommend rockpooling. You don't need children but some adults like to take them as an excuse. Take a net and a container for pool water.

I love moving a clump of seaweed or lifting a stone to find creatures hiding underneath. If you want you can catch the creature and put it in your container so you can have a closer look at it or photograph it before you put it back.
