Ana followed by 'I' - Anal See?

jO5 Wed 02-Jan-13 13:02:26

Oh yes!!!! I see what you mean!!!!

grin Yes. probably appropriate. grin

Are you on an i-pad or something fancy like that?

Ana Wed 02-Jan-13 13:01:29

What headline bit...?

NanaNel Wed 02-Jan-13 13:00:23

I am at work but everyone seems to be in the "getting back in the mood mode"
Two staff sick one flooded so decided I may as well browse on here. I really will get on tomorrow. grin

I often get sucked into a thread by seeing the most peculiar first few words of it.

crimson Wed 02-Jan-13 12:58:42

J; the headline bit says 'anal mostly follow the merlin fans on twitter'...blush

jO5 Wed 02-Jan-13 12:53:52

grin Ana

I mostly follow the Merlin Fans on Twitter. It's quite fun. Don't tweet much myself. (you can get yourself into trouble quite easily if you say the wrong thing. Those fans take it very seriously! hmm)

Ana Wed 02-Jan-13 12:48:39

I mean work-wise, I hasten to add! blush

Ana Wed 02-Jan-13 12:48:20

Luckily, (or not), I haven't much on at the moment...wink

crimson Wed 02-Jan-13 12:46:42

I wouldn't dare log on at work. Even though I work on my own most of the time and no one would know I just wouldn't get any work done.

Ana Wed 02-Jan-13 12:44:07

I know what you mean....confused I'm at work now and I can't keep off GN confused

crimson Wed 02-Jan-13 12:42:26

Yes, but once you're logged on it's impossible to do any housework/gardening etc. It's like an elastic band or force field that constantly draws you back....[so you might as well stay in bed anyway wink].

Ana Wed 02-Jan-13 12:39:06

Well, the trick is, Nanado to leave iPads, laptops etc. downstairs (or somewhere far away from your bedroom) so that you have to get up...
Works for me! wink

crimson Wed 02-Jan-13 12:38:31

I'd like to understand more about twitter; not sure how it works but assume that people on it feel the need to tell everyone what they're doing constantly [bit like people with mobile phones stuck to their ears]. However, as my favourite other forums seem to be all 'twittering' these days I need to find out more about it. Info please from twitterers smile. [don't do facebook either]

Nanado Wed 02-Jan-13 12:35:11

If I start GNetting first thing in the morning I'd never get out of bed.

Nanado Wed 02-Jan-13 12:33:55

What am I missing? Is it a bit like golf?

Nanado Wed 02-Jan-13 12:33:32

I can't get into twitter or see the point of it.

jO5 Wed 02-Jan-13 12:28:44

I'm annoying you now aren't I jess. With the multiple posts.

I don't think of it all at once. sad

jO5 Wed 02-Jan-13 12:27:57

I think I wil still be putting that 'f' in front of emoticons at Easter now! grin

jO5 Wed 02-Jan-13 12:27:15

I stay on here too long first thing in the morning. Too lazy to start on the jobs. hmm

jO5 Wed 02-Jan-13 12:25:31

I do that on Twitter jess.

JessM Wed 02-Jan-13 12:21:11

I was writing something in an email and started to BOLD it be typing an asterisk. Also have a tendency to think everyone understand MIL etc... Definite signs of addiction.

Nanado Wed 02-Jan-13 11:59:44

I always log out now, ever since my brother was staying with us and picked up my iPad!

Ana Wed 02-Jan-13 11:41:16

Not necessarily, because you might be logged in but may not be physically there, IYSWIM - I stay logged in to GN all day but I do actually go about my daily life (such as it is!) in the meantime...

crimson Wed 02-Jan-13 11:30:24

Oh; I thought you meant skype or whatever it's called blush. You can opt out of the online status on other forums, I think. I haven't done so, so I guess they'll think I'm a right saddo blush.
