Usually its porridge with a few blueberries sprinkled on top. Once or twice a week I have a cooked breakfast as a treat!

I have taken to Quaker Oat Crisp cereal - a little goes a long way - but can't find it anywhere but Sainsbury's. I have it with yoghourt and fruit - banana, stewed apple or apricots.

I have Muesli most days of the week. I never tire of it and often eat it whilst doing something else. I am always rushing around on a morning and probably should get up earlier. A cooked breakfast is a very rare treat for me.

For most of the year, it's a poached egg on a small slice of granary toast with some spicy relish. Now that it's colder I am having porridge, skimmed milk and no sugar but a tiny drizzle of maple syrup. At least four mugs of coffee before I can function fully.

If we're not going out DH likes to cook a full English (I have a small version) we like to have orange juice with this. Otherwise I have cereal, DH will have some toast with his butter grin We both have a couple of cups of tea no matter what.

I mostly have porridge with a combination of fruits, otherwise it will be a boiled egg, toast, fruit. I wash it down with a large mug of decaffeinated tea.

Riverwalk I, too, like talking about food and am a little overweight!

I have a boilled egg and toast most mornings and a piece of fruit or freshly squeezed orange juice before. Breakfast is not to be rushed and I enjoy two large cups of filter coffee after my egg.

This was breakfast when my husband was alive and I see nowt to change it.

I chop and change in what I eat at breakfast. I used to like porridge in the cold months but have now gone off it. Currently I am into having something on toast - tomatoes, mushrooms, cheese, baked beans, spaghetti in tomato sauce (tinned) or even sardines.

I have eggs every day - this morning two fried in a splash of olive oil, couple of anchovies on top, toast and coffee.

I like talking food ... might explain why I'm a stone overweight!
