Got caught again. By coincidence have just spoken to 50 year old dd on FaceTime and she is wearing her moomin t shirt. Lifelong fan.

Eleven-year old thread revived by a spammer.

I expect the cakes have been baked, enjoyed and birthday girl has grown out of Moomins by now 😀

There is a Moomin shop in Covent Garden.
I don't know if they sell the cupcake cases.

That sounds like such a sweet idea and a very special birthday for your little Moomin! I love how many of us have our own Moomin connections; it really shows how beloved these characters are across generations.

For cupcake cases, I’ve noticed that Moomin-themed baking supplies can be a bit tricky to find depending on where you’re based. If you’re open to getting creative, one idea is to use plain pastel or nature-themed cases and then top them with Moomin-inspired decorations. I recently used this lovely website for a forest-themed party, they have charming ceramic cake toppers (including animals and woodland motifs) that could pair beautifully with a Moomin vibe. Not officially branded, but they definitely have that whimsical, storybook feel.

Also, Etsy might be worth a look there are often small batch creators with themed cupcake wraps or printable toppers. Hope that helps, and I’d love to see how the cake turns out!

DS2 has a bull terrier and he calls her Moomin. It isn't her name, just a 'pet' name.
He also refers to her as 'the furry grandchild', she is a child substitute at the moment. He also calls her Billums, which is what he always called the bull terrier we had when he was a child.

My daughter is looking for an outlet for Moomin cup cake cases. Does anyone have a clue where she can buy them. My DGD is 1 in July and shares her name with the author of Moomin. We call her our little Moomin. I am making a Moomin birthday cake but we do need the cup cake cases. Any ideas.
