Waiting for Santa

I am sorry to say, but I would be alarmed too.

It may be just his individualism, but it could be expected to be expressed rather differently I would have thought.

DD has reminded me that GS1 once asked for his own Genie, which seemed a very useful idea. Sadly it never materialised.

numberplease your mention of the Argos catalogue reminded me of when my two little step-nieces showed me all the things they were expecting Father Christmas to bring them.

What made me smile was the number of things they'd chosen as joint presents. They'd decided there was more chance of getting certain things if they both asked for it! I thought it was a clever strategy and one that would never in a million years have occurred to me and my brothers!

I love the thought of a statue Bunch and the servant dog is a great idea. Very wise to want to know what £100 actually looks like - you wouldn't want to be disappointed when it arrives

A few years ago, 2 of my grandchildren wrote out their lists for Santa, with the "help" of the Argos catalogue. Jenny, aged 8, filled 3 pages of my writing pad, her brother Mitchell, aged 5, wrote down 3 items, none of them expensive, what a difference between siblings.

Love it, nothing wrong with being "individual" in my book! My 8 year old grand daughter asked me to sit with her while composing a letter to Santa, on the computer of course. I commented that some things seemed a bit expensive and asked her what I should do if I couldn't afford to buy them for her. She thought about it and said it didn't matter I could just give her a kiss and a big cuddle instead...then added maybe she could have just a little present as well. Lovely to see that she's beginning to see what's really valuable in life, the love of a caring family, not lots of "stuff".

Love the idea of a statue of himself - destined for great things- has he picked out the site for his monolith?

Well, mine want Lego and Trains, a bit more affordable.
