Ha ha GandT, we X posted. I hadn't seen yours and was replying direct to the OP, suggesting on the bed, with a question mark indicating .. perhaps/what do u think? It wasn't a query to your ( as yet unseen ) comment !! ?

Yes, shop windows are a great deflater of egos, aren't they. I'll have to try sit-ups in bed, then fall asleep exhausted.

Bell, why not on the bed ?

Do them on the bed? Im sure you could download some abdominal exercises. I'm afraid I've looked pregnant all my life, the one consolation that these days it's going to be highly unlikely. Impossible in fact as I have no hankering after a pregnancy achieved by artificial means at the age of 75. I'd say do special exercises thst target the abs, keep wearing the shapers and avoid the temptation to catch sight of yourself in shop windows, side on.

Now there is a thread title to grab attention.

Sit ups would the exercise I would try, but, you say the floor is out, so do them on your bed. And another advantage, you can have a rest when you are done. But, little and often, don't strain, work up slowly with any exercise.

I'm 5ft 5ins and under 10 stone, having lost one and a half stone on a diet, but I still look about six months pregnant even in shapewear. It's not that I'm inactive; I've put in three hours digging in the veg garden this morning and that's quite normal for me, but I just can't shift this great flabby belly! Has anyone got any ideas that might work---as long as it doesn't involve floor exercises? I'd never be able to get up again without a hoist.
