Phoenix, hope that was just his sense of humour? Please say yes ....

Love all of these! grin
Looking at the endless bottles and pots of gunk I have managed to not get through over the years, I must be becoming dry old stick ? insect, so if I start now , whether or not I am a vision of loveliness by summer, I should at least have more room in the bathroom.

Phoenix. He spoils you. ???

I do it to use up the 3 bottles of moisturiser I bought for myself and 2 DDs but then kept it all. I don't know why I did that.

Christinefrance Sat 18-Feb-17 07:38:07

Exactly Merlotgran use up the excess moisturiser we have on our hands. My elbows have had some very expensive cream on them from time to time.smile

Willow500 Sat 18-Feb-17 06:31:29

To use up the mountains of excess moisturiser we all have in our bathrooms? grin

BBbevan Sat 18-Feb-17 06:20:27

Well it will be summer soon with more bits on show. So it's best to get ready.

Why do we moisturise our elbows? Well, why not? grin.

I only ever moisturize my right elbow, as the left one is siky smooth.

Mr P once bought me a foot sander for Christmas, of course that was not the same year that he gave me a digital air compressor, or the one that he presented me with a beautifully wrapped toilet seat.

After all, one can have too much of a good thing!

annodomini Fri 17-Feb-17 22:53:55

My elbows get moisturised with the rest of the very dry skin on my arms.

pensionpat Fri 17-Feb-17 22:50:45

Phoenix if I did that I would be even shorter!

phoenix Fri 17-Feb-17 22:46:56

pensions to use one of Mr P's phrases "that'll be it then"!

If that's the case, I'd better take a sander to my heels.

merlotgran Fri 17-Feb-17 22:43:35

I often moisturise my elbows.

Where else am I going to smear the surplus hand lotion that has shot out of the tube even though it was just a gentle squeeze?

pensionpat Fri 17-Feb-17 22:41:15

It's for the same reason that we wear clean knickers. In case we get run over by a bus. Any doctor would refuse to treat you if you had rough skin on your elbows!

Luckygirl Fri 17-Feb-17 22:40:14

I think this is a very elbow-fetishist statement frankly grin

I was tempted to ask why bother to wipe your bum; but no that would be silly!

I have had the maddest of days with lots of wee boys leaping round my house while an electrician deafened us all drilling holes here and there, while I got through a box of tissues with my streaming cold. I think I have lots the plot now and will retire gracefully. Atchoo!

LadyGracie Fri 17-Feb-17 22:35:31

The same reason I moisturise my feet (and elbows) for myself. Nobody looks at them but they feel good!
And you never know your luck, one day someone may have a peek! wink

phoenix Fri 17-Feb-17 22:28:07

Why on earth I have just moisturised my elbows? confused

At present they are highly unlikely to be on show, and Mr P is not exactly known for having an elbow fetish.

Actually, not sure why I bother with anything much!
