Thanks for your replies.
I have purchased a Clarins and a Maybelline today so I will test them out over the coming days.

Definitely Clarins

I'm using Lipcote over my current lipsticks and it works reasonably well. I'd still like to find a lipstick that doesn't wear off in 2 minutes though and give up the Lipcote

Hi Myym. I usually buy No 7 makeup, but couldn't find a lipstick I was happy with, so started shopping around. I now use Maybelline Super Stay 24 lip colour. It goes on in two stages, the colour followed by a moisturiser. It really does last all day. It costs about £10, but is often on 2 for 1 offers.

Hi,
With the effects of getting older and the currant cooler weather which makes skin dry out more I need to look for a better lipstick.
Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced lipstick that lasts well throughout the day but doesn't dry lips or go clumpy around the edges?
