My DD has ordered a lovely selection of sandwiches from Morrisons for a family party this weekend. Easy-peasey.

Ready made it is. Morrisons do a lovely range of sandwiches.

I would definitely go for platters - DIY sandwiches can be pretty messy and also very slow while everyone is buttering and selecting fillings.

Oh no not the do it yourself sandwich bar it could turn into unlawful mess and how would you control things ie. Hygiene, cross contamination, the ten second rule, tidiness?
Definitely go for ready made platters. far less for you to do that way too.

If it were me, I'd forget the salad. I did a buffet for 30 people at the day centre I run, and we had 3 different types of sandwiches, pork pies, sausage rolls, quiche, mini pizzas, Scotch eggs, then an assortment of cakes. I bought cheap fizzy plonk, some fresh orange juice, and we had "Buck's Fizz" (you can actually buy the stuff in bottles) and shandy.

Order!!

Some people have a nasty habit of rushing to a buffet, grabbing four or five times more food than they want, leaving everyone else short.

Get the sandwiches made in advance to foil the grabby grubbers!!

Can you get sausage rolls, cocktail sausages etc or are there no facilities to heat stuff?

Is everyone bringing their own drinks? Have you got a drinking water supply on site for water jugs/squash jugs?
