Pass the salt and vinegar, please.

Lie suit on sofa, unzip, place child in suit, zip up?

Am I doing it wrong?

MiniMoon Sat 14-Jul-18 23:37:24

Perfectly reasonable question if in rather fractured English.
Sit child on lap. Put feet into snowsuit. Stand child on floor. Put arms into sleeves. Zip up. No need to dress on knee, unless of course he is a baby.

Well, there might be some flies, depending on the choice of lubricant.

MissAdventure Sat 14-Jul-18 23:27:59

No flies on us..

Lard may be ok for certain small people MissAdventure but I think you should not rule out extra virgin olive oil.

I appreciate that would rather open the door for a potential "oil wars", with Waitrose v artisan delis, then other factors coming in in favour of Lidl DeLuxe range, arguing that it is a quality product for the ordinary person (providing of course that the purchaser isNOT wearing a polyester football supporters shirt.

We use olive oil, however it does attract the wasps, oh well, needs must.

I’m sorry, but nothing beats WD40.....

MissAdventure Sat 14-Jul-18 23:17:14

Yes but Castrol doesn't do chips as nicely as lard. grin

Chewbacca Sat 14-Jul-18 23:15:32

Really MissA? But don't you find that they slip out if your hands; being greasy and all? Surely a bit of Castrol X would be a better lubricant? Ah well, each to their own! grin

Happy holidays

MissAdventure Sat 14-Jul-18 23:11:55

I usually cover them in lard, then shake them vigorously up and down until they slide in.

MissAdventure Sat 14-Jul-18 23:10:44

Hasn't it just?

Oopsadaisy53 Sat 14-Jul-18 23:10:41

Only 24 weeks to Christmas

Chewbacca Sat 14-Jul-18 23:10:34

I do it the same as getting them in a onesie: take off their head and arms and slip them in feet first first.

phoenix Sat 14-Jul-18 23:08:43

Turned out nice again.
