Hubby as these large ear phones bought by our son for Christmas a couple of years ago but he doesn't use his hearing aids when he uses them.
He listens to the TV and I can have the TV on the volume that is good for me.
He had to tune them into the TV.
He even uses them when mowing the lawn

Over the ears headphones work well with hearing aids kept in.

I take out my one hearing aid and stick my headphones in and all is well and easy for me to hear.

Wireless headphones are much better than hearing aids for TV and Radio, they are not expensive at around £50, worn without hearing aids should be better. Instead of the Radio speakers being picked up and amplified, headphones amplify directly.
In theatres a hearing loop is often used maybe a home version is available

RNID used to have this info on their website. Or look at connevans website.

I think you need to go back to the supplier as JJ suggests. If they are digital and modern TV, radio and hi fi can be received straight into the aids themselves.

The headphones have to be compatible with the hearing aids so it would depend on which ones he has. I think google would be able to help.

It is our wedding anniversary soon and I would like to buy DH some good headphones. He wears hearing aids. Can anyone tell me the impact or any contra indications?

Thank you!!
