Forum abbreviations

Please could someone tell me what the abbreviations used on the forums stand for? I've worked out DiL as daughter in law, but DD, AC etc have me stumped. Forums newbie, as you'll have guessed!

Type abbreviations into the search box and you'll find many many threads discussing this!

Thanks - I tried the search box before I posted but nothing comes up, and I can't see a link to acronyms - wonder if it's because I'm on here on my mobile?

It's the same old problem - using the term acronyms when it should be abbreviations!
Most are not acronyms!!

On mobile site, go to menu - 3 blue stripes at top left.

It dosen't appear in the drop down menu though. You still need to type it in the search.
