Do you have a flat or annex you would be willing to let in the Kingston on Thames area in exchange for low rent with housekeeping duties/pet care/help with grandchildren?

My son and daughter-in-law have returned from working in Africa and he has just been employed in Kingston on Thames. My daughter-in-law would like to undertake some live in work for an elderly person or people as they are finding flats in the area beyond their means. She is entirely honest, hardworking and delightful. I think my son is too, but perhaps I’m biased in that regard! Does anyone know of a scheme or agency that could match them?

The Lady magazine is the place to post an advert.
Or look at the local gumtree again you can post an ad here and a few agencies advertise on gumtree.

Or they could sign on to "Nextdoor" a local forum and put the word out there. Someone recently advertised on my local site for someone (not an agency) to live in and look after a 93 year old.
