This is something I've often considered but never got around to trying. Love the idea.

Yes ‘hi’ MTDancer - as kitty quite rightly says.

Thank you Fennel I’ve saved that link for next summer when I’m ‘in the money’ hehe!

Welcome op, if you are new.

I know a bit about wigs, saying no more. Except this is a good site, and cheap.

I know people who wear them because of hair loss or thinning hair and they look great.

Most people have told me they itch but, if you want to try one, why not? You won't know until you try.

My friend does occasionally! The first time I saw her in it I told her that I loved her new style. It was very similar in length, not pixie but chin length. She looked bluddy amazing!

Then she started giggling and fessed up. Gosh, I tell you, next year when I get my state pension (age 66y) I’m going to treat myself to one!

Well if you go from pixie style to long and back again people will know it’s a wig won’t they ?
No I ve never used one bit if that’s what you want to do why not ?

I am seriously thinking of getting some wigs for a change.
I have short hair in a pixie style but thought I could have a wig that gave me longer hair.
I would also like a few different colours.
BUT how will they look? I don't want it to look like a wig. My nana had one and we used to call it her 'hat' that was many moons ago though as I turned 60 this year.
