Do keep wondering though if there are any grans out there who do actually attend afternoon tea dances in South Cambridgeshire themselves.

Have you looked at notice boards in local library.

If you go to the monthly one then the people attending will know what other ones are on

You could try contacting a local dance school in your area, they may know of some, or maybe organise one themselves with tuition for beginners and improvers. If you have a Warners 'Just for Adults' complex in your area, then give them a call and see if they can offer you anything as part of a day guest afternoon tea package. Likewise AgeUk may run social groups and day centres locally where dances are sometimes organised. Good Luck in your search.
