Keep him entertained while they get something done? Buy a pack of nappies?

What do you mean by ‘support’ ? That comes in many shapes and sizes. Do you live near each other?

That's right endlessstrife the OP should not worry but enjoy her new grandson. Her family will understand her limitations and work with it. It's important just to love grandchildren and I'm sure you are going to do that suedawes

Don’t worry about anything until you’re asked for help. It may be they won’t need any. Sometimes, I think when we struggle as older people, we forget how well we felt when we were young. They won’t feel like you do, they’ll have bags of energy. Just enjoy your little grandson, it’s their turn now.
