I have signed up for telephone support. Waiting to hear too.

Having worked for the NHS for the best part of my working life if I was as quick now as I was then, I'd at least have helped during meal-times to free-up the nursing staff, but it would look like a re-run of Julie Walters's " Two Soups "

I've signed up for the NHS volunteer scheme, and I'm waiting to hear where/when/what I'll be doing. I've got a full DBS (required for all of the volunteer work, I think)

I can understand your being anxious about that. But I understand your DH as well. I feel such a fraud sitting at home as a perfectly fit (but deaf) 78-year-old. It appears the best I can do is nothing!
