After, vanilla ice cream with fresh blueberries on top. Then a decaff coffee.

I've been up since 05.00 so already my thoughts are turning to dinner!

Lunch was a very disappointing prawn stir-fry, using a sachet of black bean sauce (Blue Dragon and rubbish) which was unbelievably sweet and pale brown.

I'm pondering. hmm

Today we had chicken in ginger and sweet chilli sauce, rice and stir fried red pepper, mushroom, kale and bean sprouts. I cut the chicken breast into chunks and coated them in batter before frying. DH took one bite and said, "this is lovely". It was too, rather like the takeaway but better.
That was lunchtime, our main meal. Tonight I had a bread roll with some stuffed chicken and a biscuit.

Tonight my Dh had fresh Paella ready meal from this weeks delivery, l had a half rack of ribs from that big Frozen food supplier, but it was fairly tasteless and fatty, so I ended up having some fresh fruit and a yogurt after it as l was still hungry. Dh has taken to snacking on Chocolate and biscuits out of the 'treat box' normally reserved for the Grandchildren's visits, and its starting to show in how tight his trouser waistbands are getting!
I think it maybe to do with bordom and not being able to go on his long walks like he used to do, hes putting on so much weight.

My version wasn't quite as pretty as the professional's above - I blame the lighting!

It was very tasty but the sauce was a bit thick - I had one portion and the other is in the freezer.

My husband eats anything I cook too. Sausages tonight with carrot and coriander mash. Then lemon yoghurt with passion fruit.
