Hello all, and hope you are safe and well.
I made a batch of chilli in early April, and asked Mr P to put a couple of portions for 2 in the freezer. (If that makes sense?)
We have some tubs that hold the perfect amount for 2 portions of things like chilli, Bolognese sauce, mashed potato etc, but Mr P seemed to "forget" those even though we have at least 12 of them, and put a quantity into a freezer bag.
A rather large quantity, as I have discovered when taking it out ready for tonight!
Under normal circumstances, I would just invite some friends to supper, but of course that can't happen.
So, do you think it would be ok to put some of it back in the freezer?
I would never do that with things like chicken or sausages, but wondered if homemade chilli might be ok.
It's either that, or waste it, and I hate wasting food! Plus, it's another meal for another time that I won't need to make from scratch.
