Vacuum Cleaner for ease of use

GTech cordless upright, and a small gtech hand held cordless. Originally had these in my so used the hand held one for stairs and car. Now only need this in car. Has some attachments making it easy to get behind rads.
Love my Gtech upright- handle folds down to make it easy to store, light but powerful. easy to charge, and so easy to empty.

Gtech Ram here, I am on my third,wouldnt buy anything else.

I do not like the Gtech handheld though,find it too heavy and awkward.

Gosh, thank you all ! I am in a one bed flat now so a vac is really only for the large sitting room with a wool cord carpet
and bedroom with cord carpet and rugs, a modest abode.
yes lightweight is good, and ease of emptying as my old fingers are not too strong now. sigh.
I also realise that vacs are not as powerful now. I was looking at Sebo, upright, but also need to get under my bed and sofa
to clean, already lying flat on the carpet directing the nozzle.

I have a cordless Dyson stick type and it's so easy to use. It's light and easy to carry upstairs and also easy to empty. I also have arthritic hands and cannot open/empty/carry most vacuum cleaners. The charge doesn't last long enough for the whole house and it does need emptying frequently but this does not outweigh the advantages.

I have a Henry and it`s light and very good .

I have one of those cordless ones. It’s very light and very efficient.

I have two vacuums, the Dyson which I used to swear by however I found it getting heavier to use so I bought a GTech AirRam and I can't recommend it enough. It def works for me, very light to use, zooms around the house (bungalow) but even if I had upstairs it would be easy to manoeuvre up and down. Think it's been a very very good buy.

I've got two vacuum cleaners. The first is a Bosch bagged cleaner which lives upstairs. The second is a Dyson V6 which I use downstairs.

I must confess that I often ignore the Bosch and take the Dyson upstairs with me. It is so light and easy to carry, and it gets into the corners that the Bosch misses.

I would go for one of the lightweight ones. Rather embarrassingly I have 3 hoovers.

The first is a Miele which I have had for donkeys years but which has become too heavy. But it is a fantastic Hoover, it is as efficient now after 15-20 years as the day I bought it.

The next is a lightweight G-tec which is used upstairs and is likewise efficient and very easy to empty.

The last is a light weight Dyson, (animal) which I inherited from Mum. I use that downstairs. That again is efficient, not quite so easy to empty as the G-Tec.

I suspect the last two won’t last a fraction of the time of the Miele
