Electrolysed Water Floor Cleaners

I am not a Daily Mail reader but found this on the internet.

If it is Hypochlorous Acid then it contains Bleach, Sodium Hypochlorite, not salt, Sodium Chloride.
Bleach will kill bacteria etc. (As advertised on TV )
But I would not describe it as "no harsh chemicals" (The bacteria would agree with me, even if no one else does ) Being an elctrolyte, it will be a corrosive solution.
But that is the difference between having a qualification (?) in advertising as opposed to Chemistry.

I don't know about the floor cleaner that you mention but I use electrolysed water for cleaning and as a hand sanitiser and disinfectant. I am no scientist but apparently it is electrolysed water and salt solution and is 99.995% effective at killing bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores. Kind to your skin and environment as there are no harsh chemicals. It makes HOCL (Hypochlorous acid) .. I get it from a company in Dundee and I would put on a link but I am not sure if that is against the rules. It is now used in quite a few organisations and establishments around the area. Maybe someone with more scientific knowledge can give a better explanation.

Sounds like advertising hype.
If you electrolyse water you get Oxygen and Hydrogen.
Water, plus a wetting agent will probably do the job as well, and more cheaply. Possibly in a Flash!
