I agree with Coolgran65,thats what do with my friends and we have a great time.
Flowers die, chocolates get eaten but memories last forever.

It will depend on both your attitudes to risk, but DH, DD and I are having a spa day at the end of the month. However we are classed as one household because we are in the same bubble.

Is she happy to go out? If so, does she want to keep it local? My friends just aren't risking any travel or eating out atm.

How about a nice IOU note for adventure later on, when (hopefully) it's safer out there?

I was given some lovely house plants in pots on stands - unusual, not a special occasion or birthday, a 'just because' present.

Afternoon tea, somewhere nice.

My best friend and I usually buy each other things like theatre tickets, or a spa day - something we can do together. Obviously this year we’re limited to what we can do and where we can go. Does anyone have any ideas for a nice birthday gift for a special friend. She’s not really a flowers kind of person. Her family usually but her perfume, vouchers etc. I’m really stumped this year because as long as I can remember we’ve bought each other a gift of something to do together. Ideas would be gratefully received, thank you.
