Just read they have been dropped from This Morning for Alison Hammond and Dermot O Leary! Wrong decision don't you think?

I prefer Eamon and Ruth to the giggly Phil and Holly and will miss them. I usually have it on as I go about my chores.

I did see Ruth on the foot thingy advert and thought it a very boring ad. It I guess it pays the bills.

I quite like Alison and Dermot but not sure about for a whole program. They are probably cheaper.

Another one here who never watches morning TV or Strictly.

MayBee70 Sat 14-Nov-20 23:52:50

It was called ‘Back to School’. Well worth a watch if it’s still on catchup.

Alison did a great documentary a few weeks ago as part of the Black Lives Matter month. I’m afraid I can’t remember what it was called as I only caught it by accident. Am I right in thinking that she’s the most successful person to have started out on Big Brother? I loved her in that.

I never watch morning TV or strictly either.

mokryna Sat 14-Nov-20 23:26:37

I don’t like morning tv either.

Marydoll Sat 14-Nov-20 23:23:57

Count me as the fourth!

Missfoodlove. Take heart. You are not alone in this. And I see BlueBelle makes three!

BlueBelle Sat 14-Nov-20 23:04:39

Not the only one missfoodlove I don’t watch morning TV or strictly so wow there’s two of us !
Although I don’t watch, you do see these characters on other programmes and clipsand I find Eamon and Ruth a bit irritating and think Alison is a marmite character but she’s done really well and makes fun of herself so I reckon she’s alright

trisher Sat 14-Nov-20 22:48:11

Can't stand any of them, so never watch.

paddyanne Sat 14-Nov-20 22:44:26

I find Eamonn quite sleazy ,he sort of slavers over women on the programme and Ruth is what my GD's would call up herself .
I like Alison and Dermot, both down to earth and still in touch with the man/woman on the street
.I had to laugh at Mr Holmes last week saying they should have signed up for I'm a celebrity because"they need the money"!! Give us a break ,think about the folk viewing who have had no income since lockdown.

TrendyNannie6 Sat 14-Nov-20 22:03:00

I like Alison she’s great, doesn’t take herself seriously,

Missfoodlove Sat 14-Nov-20 21:51:54

I think I am the only person in the U.K. to not watch any morning TV or strictly come dancing.

shysal Sat 14-Nov-20 20:13:30

I can't stand Eamonn and Ruth. I hate their bickering, so won't miss them.

EllanVannin Sat 14-Nov-20 19:38:07

I never watch it. Prefer BBC1 in the morning.

Alison is filled full of fun and I like her she’s done so well since she first appeared on tv. She’s in the next I’m a celebrity get me out of here you’ll either like her or not after that programme we’ll perhaps see her in a different light.I hope she does well I do like Eamon and Ruth and of course Lorraine. They brighten up my mornings. It’s just as well we’re all different wouldn’t need to all be the same. wink

She is definitely not in I’m a Celebrity this year as she has been on This Morning this week, all those participating have been in a bubble for the last couple of weeks.

Plus she was in a previous series when it was in Australia.

Time we had a break from Schofield & Willoughby as well, they act like silly kids.

It seems they will still be covering school holidays which the main presenters have off. They just won't be doing Fridays as they do now.

Namsnanny Sat 14-Nov-20 18:22:44

I wondered if they were off when I saw they were doing an advert for that wobbling machine you put your feet on (for circulation I think) The one the cricketer used to advertise!

Kate1949 Sat 14-Nov-20 18:21:57

Oh has it? Apologies. I just googled it and it was just old news saying they were being replaced on some Fridays
when Eamonn and Ruth were doing the school holidays.

kircubbin2000 Sat 14-Nov-20 18:18:40

It's just been announced, I can't stand Alison, she's so loud and silly.

Kate1949 Sat 14-Nov-20 18:17:19

Alison and Dermot have presented on a few Fridays. I'm not sure they are replacing Eamonn and Ruth, although I could be wrong (it's very possible!)

Knittynatter Sat 14-Nov-20 18:15:31

I must admit I went off Eamon after he made all that fuss about Gogglebox, so I won’t miss him.

Puzzler61 Sat 14-Nov-20 18:11:16

New brushes and all that.
I prefer “Morning Live” with Gethin Jones and Kim Marsh to
“Lorraine” now.
We need some younger folk coming through I suppose ? ?
