I have an old sock filled with cat litter and tied up with a ribbon. It seems to do the job.

I also use the hanging one that turn the beads into water before you dispose of them.. they do the job very well and cost just 69p each in Poundstretcher

I used to use the hanging ones meant for wardrobes. £1 in Poundland. Did the trick but not renewable.

The air conditioning dehumidifies.

They had very similar things In Tesco last year around this time, on the car section.

I have an older car so it does mist up, I use those things with the beads in they the beads clump together when they are use and damp.

I bought a couple of the bags that tanith shows, when my rear window started to mist inside. It has done the trick.

Here's a pic available on amazon for about a tenner

.... meant to say, I bought a Eco Ventis.

I had already bought one, forgot about it and now just found in the draw.
I bought from Halfords. Apparently you just “ renew in the microwave”.
You can tell it needs drying as the orange balls turn to green when wet.
I’m going to put in my car tonight and am just managing my expectations!
If it’s any good, and depending on your comments and recommendations, I may buy more for Xmas pressies.

Tanith, mayI ask what it is called and where you bought it?

Onthenaughtystep1 Tue 24-Nov-20 08:54:56

I have looked at them with a view to buying. There seems to be two types. One where the medium turns to liquid and has to be disposed of. The other where the medium can be dried out and reused. I will be checking back on here to read if anyone has experience of either or if another method is available.

I have one of those pads full of beads it sits on the dash and once a week it goes in the microwave for 5 mins. Not high tech but it does the job perfectly

Have you got one?
Can you recommend it?
Where do you put yours?
Cheers
