I think I would worry about GC if they were seriously ill, but I am very fortunate that I don't tend to brood about them normally. When something does happen, like being left with a dehydrated 11 month old GD, taking her to the GP and then in a blue light ambulance to A and E, you just deal with it, (and the distressed DD when she manages to join you at the hospital!) At the time I felt somehow felt confident that she would be okay. Later, there was a 'what if' moment, but it didn't last long.
My sleepless nights are over my adult children, as you can't do anything about the troubles they get themselves into!
