Blimey, the thread’s been running over 2 hours and as yet nobody’s come out with the usual unoriginal guff about Nanna being a goat or the paid help. That’s a first!

Just add your name, as others have said, if Nana’s the term you prefer? Even though my opposite numbers are all known as Grandma, I’m Nanna Maggie and love it.

I’m grandma, but I have noticed the elder one sometimes refers to me as “gee ma” lately, presumably the letter g is what she means. I’m ignoring it in the hope it is just a phase ?.

I’m Granny (first name), the other GM is Granny (first name) too.
I never liked any of the other grandmother names, but funnily enough when a very tiny Gdd would call me Nanny, because she couldn’t yet say the G-word, I found I liked it after all.

I am Nonna,my children were born in Italy and I love being Nonna.

Another Gran here, I am called that by all the Grandchildren.

I’m nanna ,my daughter is also nanna to her grandchild so for him I am great nanna. Sounds quite complimentary when I think about it !

I was nanny park as thats where I took them. Other nan was nan nan and didn't take them out.

I'm Granny with my Christian name on the end. The others are the same Granny with their Christian names on the end.

I called my maternal grandfather just that, Grandfather. It looks very formal, but it seemed quite natural. My father’s father was Grandpa, but he died when I was barely six and I don’t really remember him. Grandfather lived with us for some years after Grandma died, and was a major influence on my life.

My husband didn’t live to see his grandchildren, sadly.

Always been Gran and Grandpa. All the various other grandparents have other titles so never a problem

My little grandsons call me Nan and my little granddaughters call me Nanny....

I’ve always been nanny but my grownup GC now call me Grandma and the GrtGC call me Gaga.

I’m Grandma. The other one is Granny. This is also what I called my grandparents.

I'm Grandma to my eldest son's children., granny to my daughter's and Nan to my younger son's children.
I don't like Nan, I sign their cards from Gran, which is what I would like to be called by all of them.

I was going to be granny, like my two grannies. But DGS had other ideas. So I am Gaga. To be fair, he's right.

I’m Gran and my daughter’s late mother in law was Granny.
